Near Marysville, Kansas there used to be a ferry crossing for pioneers crossing the Big Blue River. I grew up along that river south about 7 miles. The history of this miracle of man's ability to solve challenges is what I've attempted to share in this historic painting. I see this on the wall of someone who loves history of the days when pioneers took their long drive west.
